Grand Bohemian Hotel in Asheville

We used David's Marriott hotel points to book our weekend getaway to Asheville, NC. When I went to the Marriott website I noticed that the Grand Bohemian is a partner of Marriott so we could choose this as our hotel. I loved all the character and the location was just outside the Biltmore gates.
The inside lobby is very rustic and has the mountain feel.
We got upgraded to the suite (just by asking when we reserved). Here is a tour of the room. This is the view as you walk in.
There is a nice wet bar area with a sink and refrigerator.
I loved the floors.
To the right was the luxurious bathroom.
The tub has a view of the room as well.
The sink and vanity area was impressive with the carved details on the doors.
Shower
The bedroom area. I really like the headboard and bench at the end. We've been wanting to redo our bedroom and we got a lot of inspiration from this room in our heads.
Across from the bedroom area was this sitting room with another TV, pull out couches and chairs.
I love the chandeliers, perfect for the area.
If you are looking to stay in the area, we'd def. recommend this hotel.
For dinner our first night we went to their cute square area and ate at Fiore's Cottonwood Ristorante Tuscano. The atmosphere was quaint and the food was excellent.
 I ate the Chicken Piccata.
And David got this massive calzone/pizza. Even with our best effort we had 2 slices left. Stay tuned tomorrow for our trip to the Biltmore

Wow! This is so luxurious! I would say much nicer than the rooms at the Biltmore or Grove Park. Can't wait to read about the rest of your trip!
