Yard Work, Vision Boards and Errands Kind of Weekend

I am so glad that our weather is going to be close to 70's both days this weekend. It has been really rainy and cold these past couple of days. It also rained last weekend so we weren't able to get our pre-spring yard work done. We will be playing catch up this weekend. Here is our list of yard work: put pre-emergent down on the grass, trim the trees and rose bushes (they got out of control last year), get our weed mat put down for our square foot garden, start building our square foot garden.
We are also taking Molly for her yearly vet exam and shots along with going grocery shopping. The last thing on our list (yes, I make weekend lists) that I am looking forward to is making vision boards. I am sure a lot of you watched Oprah a few years back when she talked about the secret and vision boards, but my brother's blog post got me thinking about it again the other day.
He sent us the movie a long time ago so I watched it again the other night. It talks about the law of attraction, basically that just means that what you concentrate on most, you attract to you, good or bad. The idea behind a vision board is that when you surround yourself with images of who you want to become, what you want to have, where you want to live, or where you want to vacation, your life changes to match those images and those desires. Check out their website and this site I found that explains vision boards really well. Anyone else a believer of the law of attraction? Pin It

Yep, I am a believer! Oh, you already said that...thanks for the shout out and info on the vision board. I had one when the office was in the front room, but Marla took my cork board, so will have to do up a new one. We play to watch the Secret again this weekend, been about a year I think, so definitely need to be re-energized! Send pics of your board when you're done...mine will probably have mostly beach homes or views, $ and maybe successful looking guys with my head on em... ;)

I've never heard of these vision boards, very interesting! I want to see y'alls though and see how it goes. It makes complete sense though, power of positive thinking!
