Easter Egg & Basket Time!
Here is the last of the Easter photos. I guess I should have done one post, but there are just too many cute photos not to share individually.
He had fun so that's all that matters.
You're supposed to let them sit for 10 mins and we did way longer so that wasn't the issue. Then you just pat dry or use a little cold water to rinse.
Final product. See what I mean.
Max's Easter basket with bubbles, chalk, Goodnight Construction site book (love it), new water bottle and a few candy items.
We hid it in his dishes cupboard.
Easter bunny Gigi hid another gift with a bike helmet and some fun water Nerf guns for summer.
Here is the happy boy before we set off to find his Easter basket.
Not under the blankets either!
Getting warmer!
Found it!
He was pretty excited. Of course he noticed the big bubbles and then went straight for the m & m's. He loves his chocolate.
Bubbles now please he says.
Off he went in search of his other Easter gifts. What a spoiled little boy.
I wish he would have turned his head so you could see the face. He was doing his happy dance.
Spiderman helmet!
Water toys!
Ready to play!

Egg Hunt # 2
On Saturday afternoon we had a neighborhood egg hunt. The weather was a bit windy with threats of rain so we weren't sure it was going to happen, but it did!
We started by greeting some friends, well Max was busy with his basket, but Olon wanted to say Hi.
Ready, set, go!
Max's bff Noah was helping him get some more eggs.
Here is Max waving to the Easter bunny. He liked the bunny because she gave him a lollipop.
I forget I'm pregnant sometimes until I see the beach ball hiding in my shirt.
So much for a picture of Max and his eggs. He gets the eyes closed for pictures thing from his daddy.

BIg Boy Day
We decided it was time for Max to officially become a big boy and get rid of his pacci. He is a little over 2 years and 2 months old (wanted to document that for the date). When we'd talk about it he knew he didn't need it anymore and wanted to give it to other babies who did need it. We wanted to make sure he knew it wasn't going to baby sister so he wouldn't have any resentment towards her for taking it. David and I were both off on Friday so we thought it was as good a time as any.
One last good bye
Mom found the perfect size box to fit it and as you can see he was pretty excited about it.
Bye bye pluggy
Sealing the deal.
Still excited as we put it in the mailbox to mail off to the babies who need them.
We even put the flag up.
Right after we drove down to Atlanta to go to the Children's Museum. The kids were all supposed to be off that day, but with all the snow days it was a makeup day so I didn't think it would be as crowded... I was wrong. Bus loads of kids came.
He caught one (well maybe Gigi helped)!

Max's 1st Easter Egg Hunt at School
Max's preschool had an Easter egg hunt on Tuesday and I couldn't miss his first official egg hunt! I took a long lunch and visited him at school.
This is his classroom. They were supposed to do it outside, but the rain/cold weather kept us inside. We practiced inside so he didn't know any better. They also left the eggs empty inside which was fine by us since he doesn't know something goes inside.
Max did a great job of finding the eggs and putting them in his bag.
Gigi came to help, too!
He was pretty excited about his finds.
My silly boy.
